Chinese herbal steamed fish

Chinese Herbal Steamed Fish Serves 2 

Ingredients:

  • 1 Fish (~ 450g), any fish will do, so choose one which will suite your taste.   Eventually, a chicken can replace

  • Ginger, 3 slices (4cmx2cmx2mm)

  • Water 600 cc 

  • Rice wine 250 cc

  • Fresh mint leaves (~ 12 leaves)

  • Chinese herbal mixture pack NFC8708

Work time    : 20 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes

 

This freshening tasty soup will help pregnant women to have good blood circulation before delivery, and will help the cramps in the stomach.

Preparation

Clean the fish and cut some lines on it.

Cut the fish in several pieces and arrange it in a dish.

Put some slices of ginger on the fish.

In a separate cooking pot, pour  out the Chinese herbal pack and cook it with water and rice wine until boiled.  Pour the herbal soup into the fish dish.

Steam the mixture as of figure 4 for 30 minutes, then put some fresh mint leaves in the soup and serve hot.
