Steamed Ren Shen(Gin Seng) Chicken

Da Zao peanuts pork feet soup Serves 2 

Ingredients:

  • 1 full chicken

  • Water 500 cc

  • Salt

  • Rice wine 250 cc

  • 1 pack of Chinese herbs  (Ren Shen - NFC8701)

Work time     : 10 minutes
Cooking time :  2 hours

 

This delightful steamed chicken soup will re-energize you for a quick recovery and will relief most of women pains after delivery.
Caution: Take this soup after the post-delivery bleeding is finished (VERY IMPORTANT)

Preparation

Clean  the chicken.  
Stuff the chicken with the content of the bag of herbs.

Step 1Add the water together with the prepared chicken in a big bowl.
Steam them for about 1-1/2 hours.
Take off some oil residue floating on the top of the  soup.

Step 2

Add the rice wine into the bowl.
Add some salt.
Steam them 1/2 hour more.
Serves hot.
